Registration Opening Hours

You can pick up your badge and materials at the registration desk during the following hours:

Sunday, 11 May – 08:00 to 19:00
Monday, 12 May – 08:00 to 17:30
Tuesday, 13 May – 08:00 to 17:30
Wednesday, 14 May – 08:00 to 17:30

We encourage all participants to check in on Sunday to avoid queues on Monday morning.

Welcome to the official registration for the 2025 World Tunnel Congress! Below, you will find detailed information on our pricing structure and step-by-step instructions on how to secure your place at this year’s meeting in Stockholm.

Day Tickets

To provide greater flexibility for attendees, day tickets and on-site registration options for WTC 2025. These tickets are ideal for those who can only attend a specific day of the congress. Please review the details below before purchasing. These tickets CANNOT be combined with other tickets to the congress.

Visitors Pass
Half Day Access to the Exhibition Area (from 14:00 onwards) 

Registration category will be available for purchase only onsite and on the day of the visit.

All prices are shown excluding 25% VAT. Day Tickets are available for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and provide access only to the technical sessions and exhibition taking place at the venue. To participate in the full congress programme, you will need to register with a Full Registration pass in any category.

Virtual Attendance

Virtual attendance is offered as an alternative way to partially participate in WTC 2025 for those unable to attend in person. While it does not replicate the full experience of being onsite, it provides valuable access to core congress content through our shared digital platform.

Please note that for participants joining digitally from Sweden, a 25% VAT will be added to the registration fee in accordance with Swedish tax regulations.

As a digital attendee at WTC 2025, you will have access to a tailored online experience that includes:

ITA Training Courses

On Friday, May 9, 2025, and Saturday, May 10, 2025, training course will be organized by the ITACET Foundation, ITA-CET Committee, and WTC25organization.

You can register for these while registering for the congress.

  • Student: 800 SEK
Technical Tours On Thursday 15/5/2025 special technical visits have been organized. Extra fees apply for the technical visits. You can register for these when registering for the congress.

All prices are shown excluding 25% VAT.

  • All prices are listed in Swedish krona (SEK). Payment in any other currency will not be accepted.
  • Registration fees exclude 25% VAT (i.e. tax), but the VAT can be reclaimed in most cases. More information about the VAT rules can be found on the VAT page.
  • Payments must be received before the respective deadlines (Early, Standard, Late) for the specifies registration costs to apply. 
  • ‡ Category lll countries are: Albania, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, lceland, Kenya, Laos, Lebanon, Lesotho, Nigeria, Republic of North Macedonia, Montenegro, Myanmar, Nepal, Panama, Serbia
  • A confirmation email will be sent to you upon completion of your registration. For your registration to be valid and completed, the outstanding amount mentioned should be less or equal to zero.

What does full registration include?

(Full Registration, Young Member, Category lll and Students)

  • The opportunity to present your research as an oral or poster presentation
  • Admission to the congress venue and all technical sessions
  • Admission to the exhibition area and poster session
  • Admission to the welcome reception
  • Refreshments during the conference (coffee & lunches)
  • Discounted rates for the Arlanda Express (train connecting Arlanda airport and central Stockholm)
  • The opportunity to upload an oral or poster presentation to an online archive that will be accessible to the wider WTC community. Participation in the online archive is optional.
  • Access to the online archive of uploaded oral and posters presentations from WTC for several months after WTC 2025.

What is not covered by the registration fee?

  • Technical Tours: these are optional that delegates book themselves during the registration process.
  • Gala dinner: delegates book themselves during the registration process.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made on or before January 31st 2025, will be accepted, subject to an administrative charge of SEK 625. Regrettably, cancellations received after this date will not be eligible for a refund. However, in the event of an inability to attend, the registration may be transferred to a colleague upon payment of a SEK 625 administrative fee per change. From April 30th 2025 and onwards, no name changes will be accepted. Notification of substitution should be made in writing to WTC2025@meetagain.se.
