Accompanying Person Program
While the congress is in full swing, we invite accompanying guests to discover the charm and beauty of Stockholm through two specially curated experiences. Join us for guided tours that showcase the city’s rich history and breathtaking natural surroundings.
Please note that all accompanying tours require pre-registration through our registration system. If you haven’t already signed up, we recommend doing so as spots are limited.
The Archipelago Boat Tour will leave the harbor at 10.30 from Strandvägen, berth no 15 (Outside the Hotel Diplomat) on Tuesday, May 13. You travel on the M/S Östanå I, one of the charming Edwardian-era vessels, built in 1906.
The tour will take about 2,5 hours.
Participants should make their way to the boat by 10:10. The harbor is 1.2 km from the Central Station, which is ~20min walking distance. Alternatively, you can take public transit (bus 69, which leaves from in front of Sergels Torg, goes directly to the boat – get off the bus at the Nybroplan stop – with the journey taking ~11 minutes).
The guide on board will share little anecdotes and tell you about the various historical, cultural, and natural sights we pass on our way. While we enjoy the on-board cooked lunch in the dining room we take in the famous scenery of the archipelago.
All special diet preferences have been acknowledged with the kitchen.
When you arrive at the boat, show the QR code and ticket that we will send out later.

The guide will meet you by The Obelisk at Slottsbacken, adjacent to the Royal Palace on Slottsbacken in the Old Town at 10 AM.
We walk around for two hours, with the experienced guide Åsa Övrelid, and conclude with joint lunch at restaurant Kaffegillet in the middle of the Old Town. All special diet preferences have been acknowledged with the kitchen.
Please dress for an outdoor event and choose a pair of comfortable shoes.
